Caesar Rodney
Caesar Rodney (October 7, 1728 – June 26, 1784) was a prominent figure in Delaware's history and a key leader during the American Revolutionary War. He served as a delegate to the Continental Congress, where he was a signer of the Declaration of Independence.
Rodney also held the position of president of Delaware from 1778 to 1782 and was an officer in the Delaware militia during the French and Indian War and the Revolutionary War. His contributions were vital in advocating for independence and shaping the early governance of Delaware.
