More Information (The Bridge is not responsible for external websites)
Come to the Greenwood Public Library on Friday July 19th at 2pm to find out! Open to teens 12-18. Poems can be any length, a good rule of thumb is half a page to 2 pages (hint: too short or too long is not likely to win). Writing materials and guidance will be available from 2pm to 4pm in the meeting room. The theme is adventure. Poems turned in after the program time can be brought into the library or emailed to andrew.knestaut@sussexcountyde.gov. Deadline for submission is end of day on July 22nd. Poems may also be turned in as much as two days before the program. Prize for best poem! For more info call 302-855-1242 or visit greenwood.lib.de.us This program is designed to promote writing and literacy in a supportive and welcoming environment and to build community among local writers.
