Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit. (John 12:24) ESV
May I challenge you right now to turn off your brain and open your heart just for a few minutes as you read this Devotional Thought; open your heart to what the Holy Spirit is saying to you today? Yes, I am asking that you switch off the intellect and open up your heart. The Lord says, “For the wisdom of this world is folly with God” (1 Corinthians 3:19). Jesus also said, “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 18:3).
If we begin believing the Word of the Lord as it is written we will enjoy a brand-new way of life. If we want to grow in God one of the first things we have to do is to die to ourselves. John 12:24 says, “unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.” Believe me when I tell you that my biggest enemy isn’t Satan. His neck was broken when Jesus died on the Cross of Calvary, and Jesus rose from the grave three days later. My biggest enemy is me, Randall Stapleton. The ‘I’ must come out of me. For instance, if your marriage is struggling, remove the ‘I’ out of your marriage and insert ‘we’ instead, you will have a new marriage. It is not about yours or mine – it is about ours.
Friends, if we desire to grow as ambassadors in God then Jesus Christ must be in the driver’s seat of our lives. Imagine for a minute driving down the road in our car. Stop our vehicle. Put it in neutral and pull up the hand brake then climb out, walk around to the passenger side and sit in the passenger’s seat. Then allow Jesus to sit in the driver’s seat and take the wheel. Now we are in the place where we can grow as ambassadors in God. Would you Pray with me?
Father in Heaven, thank You for Your Word to me today. I realize that the “I” is still so prevalent in my life. Today I am stopping the car and moving to the passenger seat so that You can take control of my life. Please help me through Your Holy Spirit to die daily to self so that I can become less, and You can become more in my life. For it is in Your Precious Name I pray. Amen

God Bless and have a Blessed Day, Friends <><
