Seasons Change
I love the fall season! Aside from the obvious…my fondness for Pumpkin Spice Latte(!)…I also love the feel of the crisp, cool morning air. Watching the leaves on the trees turn different colors. Roasting marshmallows by the fire pit. There is a change coming and we can sense it.
Sometimes the seasonal changes are internal. As we grow older we go through different seasons of our life. As much as we try to keep things the same in our lives we can count on things changing. Change is the nature of this life.
But there is one constant that we can count on day or night. Winter, spring, summer or fall. Hebrews 13:8 promises us that “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever!” That means that the God we read about in the Old Testament and the New Testament…the God of miracles and promises fulfilled, of kindness, goodness and love is still the same today and tomorrow, next week and next year! We can put our entire trust and confidence in Him in every area of our lives through every season.
Whatever this fall season holds for you and I we can lean into the One who walks with us through all of it!
