Sheltering Hearts Fundraising Banquet

The Christian Shelter, a non-profit providing safe harbor and nutritious meals to people in crisis, will hold its annual fundraising banquet on Saturday, April 18 at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center in Salisbury. The event will begin with a reception at 5:30 p.m. and dinner at 6:00 p.m. The event will raise funds to support the Shelter’s operational budget for 2026.

This year’s “Sheltering Hearts Fundraising Banquet” will feature a delicious dinner, live entertainment, fellowship and a keynote speech by Dana Stauffer, Lead Pastor at City Church Fruitland. Pastor Stauffer is actively involved with the City of Fruitland through the Fruitland schools, City Block Outreach ministry, the Fruitland Chamber of Commerce and as the Chaplain for the Fruitland Police Department.

Tickets for the banquet must be purchased by Tuesday, March 31, 2026. Individual tickets are $75, and sponsor packages are available starting at $250 for two tickets and a program listing, through a table for eight people ($5,000) including premier seating, a program listing, and recognition at the event.
