Who We Are:

We build experiences that build character! We exist to enable kids to build the strength of character that empowers them through a lifetime of new challenges. By seamlessly integrating the game of golf with life skills curriculum, we create safe learning experiences that build inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience that kids carry to everything they do. With the belief that all kids deserve the chance to grow in a supportive environment with mentors guiding them, we are dedicated to building programs that are accessible, welcoming, and as impactful as they are fun. When we began, we knew we were opening access to the game. What we discovered was that we were also opening access to powerful personal growth.

At First Tee – Delaware, it’s not about improving golf scores, it’s about strengthening what kids & teens bring to everything they do, including playing golf.

With your participation in the 2022 Delmarva Scramble and other events we hold throughout the year, Together, we will Build Game Changers for Life!

First Tee – Delaware offers the following programs for kids & teens in our communities:

Life Skills Programs on-the-Golf Course • First Tee School Program  •  First Tee Community Program • Girls Golf • Family Fun Clinics

All proceeds from this event go towards the growth of First Tee – Delaware programs in Kent & Sussex County, Delaware, and surrounding Maryland Counties.
