DENISE HARPER

Denise Harper is part of The Morning Show with Denise and Chris, and she is the Program Director at The Bridge.

Coffee, lipstick & Jesus… these are a few of my favorites! I love sharing life, love & hope and encouraging others to live life, full throttle, leaning into God. So honored to be a wife, mom to two young adults and ‘LaLa’ (grandma) to one. I began my radio career in 1991 and haven’t worked a day since then because I absolutely love what I get to do!

Denise Harper is originally from Delaware. After graduating from high school she lived in Charlotte, NC & Pensacola, FL before returning to her roots in Delaware in 1990 with her hubby.

She met her husband, Ken, while touring nationwide with a musical group called Sound of Joy for three years. Before that, she toured with The Spurrlows across the US for a year. In between tours, she spent a year singing in Charlotte, NC at The PTL Club.

Denise worked in radio for 12 years before coming to The Bridge. She & Bill began doing mornings together on 101.3 WXPZ (The Light FM) over 26 years ago.

Denise & her husband, Ken, are parents of two awesome young people, Cody & Abby, and are proud grandparents, ‘Popi and LaLa’, to Cody’s daughter, Macey.

If Denise hadn’t realized her dream of singing professionally and her passion for sharing encouragement through radio she would’ve most likely been a teacher…or a barista! (The perfect combination of her love for coffee and her love for people!)

Perhaps a few little-known facts about Denise are that she wanted to BE Marie Osmond when she was growing up. She sang for a year with BeBe & CeCe Winans while she was at PTL Club. She was crowned Miss Magnolia (& will not mention the year that happened).

And, there are only two states left in the US for her to see before she completes her pursuit to visit all 50 states of America! (North Dakota & Alaska)
