7th Annual Recycled Cardboard Boat Regatta

This is a fun family event. It’s fun to watch, fun to compete and fun to build a boat. The idea behind this event is to encourage recycling efforts: display tents from ROR- Nanticoke’s partners include Nanticoke Watershed Alliance, DNREC Recycles and Non-Point Source Pollution, Seaford High School Culinary Arts, Town of Blades, and Delaware Nature Society. Competitors can compete for 10 different trophies, including the Titanic Award for most spectacular sinking. There’s still time to build a boat and enter for the early bird deadline of July 30.
