Welcome to DJ's Big Backyard! (REVAMP JULY 30)

God Created Everything, Even Me!
Have you ever looked up at the sky and seen fluffy clouds, a bright sun, or twinkling stars? Did you know that God made all of those things? The Bible tells us, "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." (Genesis 1:1, NIV). God is the Creator of everything!
God made the big things that seem very important. He made huge mountains, deep oceans, giant trees, and all the planets in space. He created the sun to shine during the day and the moon to light the night. These amazing things show us how powerful and wonderful God is.
But God didn't stop with the big things. He also made the little things that some people might think are unimportant. God made tiny ants that march across the ground, colorful flowers that bloom in the grass, and little birds that sing in the trees. He even made the smallest bugs and creatures. Every part of God's creation matters because He made it.
And here's the most special part: God made you! The Bible says, "I am fearfully and wonderfully made" (Psalm 139:14, KJV). God knew all about you before you were born. He gave you your smile, your talents, and your unique personality. No one else in the world is exactly like you.
When you see the big things and the little things God created, remember that He created you too. You are not an accident. You are a special part of God's wonderful creation, and He loves you very much!

God Knows Me, God Loves Me
Have you ever wondered where God is? Some people imagine God is far away, high up in the clouds. But the Bible teaches us something wonderful: God is everywhere! In Jeremiah 23:24 (NIV), God says, "Do not I fill heaven and earth?" That means God is never too far away to hear us, help us, or love us.
God is with us when we wake up in the morning. He is with us at school, at home, and even when we are playing with friends. We cannot see Him with our eyes, but God is always near. He knows when we are happy, sad, excited, or afraid. Because He is everywhere, and we can talk to Him anytime through prayer.
The Bible also tells us that God sees us. After all, God sees when we make good choices, but He also sees when we make mistakes. Yet God's love does not disappear when we do something wrong. Psalm 103:13 says, "As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him;" (NIV). God cares for us with a loving heart.
God knows everything about you—your favorite games, your dreams, your talents, and even your worries. He sees the real you, and He still loves you very much. Nothing can surprise God, and nothing can make Him stop caring for you.
So remember: God is always near, God knows you completely, and God loves you every single day.

I Can Talk To God, I Can Trust God
Did you know that you can talk to God anytime and anywhere? You don't need a phone, a computer, or even a special building. Talking to God is called prayer. Prayer is simply speaking to God from your heart.
When we pray, we can tell God about anything. We can thank Him for good things, ask Him for help, tell Him about our worries, or pray for other people. God even says, "Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know" (Jeremiah 33:3, NIV). God wants His children to talk with Him because He loves them.
Sometimes people wonder if God really hears their prayers. The amazing news is that He does! God always listens. He may not answer in the way we expect or at the exact moment we want, but He always hears us and knows what is best.
Why can we trust God and believe in Him? We can trust God because He is always truthful. The Bible says, "God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind." (Numbers 23:19a, NIV). Unlike people; who might act one way today, and differently tomorrow. God never changes. Everything God says is true. He keeps His promises and cares about us every day.
We can also trust God because He is powerful and loving. He created the world, watches over us, and knows exactly what we need. Proverbs 3:5 tells us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;"
So remember, prayer is talking with God, and you can trust Him completely. He hears you, loves you, and will always be there for you.

Life is better with God
Have you ever tried to do something all by yourself and discovered it was really hard? Maybe it was carrying something heavy, solving a difficult problem, or learning something new. Life can feel that way too. When we try to handle everything on our own, things can be harder than they need to be.
The good news is that God does not want us to face life alone. The Bible says, "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble." (Psalm 46:1, NIV). God is always ready to help us when life gets difficult. We can pray, read His Word, and trust Him to guide us each day.
Does following God mean that nothing bad will ever happen? No. We WILL still face hard days. We might get sick, lose something important, feel sad, or have problems with friends. Even people in the Bible had difficult times. But God stayed with them through the challenge.
When bad things happen, we can trust God's plan even when we do not understand it. Romans 8:28 tells us, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." (NIV). God can take hard situations and use them for something good in our lives.
Life is better with God because we never have to walk alone. He gives us strength when we are weak, comfort when we are sad, and hope when we are afraid. No matter what happens, God loves us and stays by our side every step of the way.

I Make Mistakes, But God’s Son Jesus Is Here To Help Me
Have you ever made a mistake? Maybe you disobeyed your parents, told a lie, or were unkind to someone. Everyone makes mistakes. The Bible calls these wrong choices sin. Sin is anything we think, say, or do that goes against what God says. In the Bible Romans 3:23 tells us, "For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God.” That means every person has sinned.
God knew that we needed help, so He sent Jesus! Jesus is God's Son who came to earth because He loves us. Jesus lived a perfect life and never sinned. He taught people about God, helped those in need, and showed God's love wherever He went.
The most amazing thing Jesus did was take the punishment for our sins. The Bible says, "Christ died for our sins" (1 Corinthians 15:3, NIV). Jesus died on the cross, was buried, and rose again three days later.
Because of what Jesus did, we can be forgiven and have a relationship with God.
Jesus can forgive your sins too! If you believe in Him, and ask Him for forgiveness. A simple prayer might sound like this:
"Dear Jesus, I know that I have sinned, and I’m sorry. Thank You for dying on the cross for me and rising again. Please forgive my sins and come be a part my life. Help me follow You and trust You every day. Thank You for loving me. Amen."
Jesus is always ready to help those who come to Him in faith.

I Can Share God’s Love With My Friends
Have you ever had exciting news that you just had to tell someone? Maybe it was a fun trip, a birthday surprise, or a good grade at school. When something wonderful happens, we usually want to share it with others. God's love is the best news of all, and He wants us to share it with our friends!
Sometimes people think believing in God is something to keep to yourself, but the Bible teaches us to tell others about God. Jesus said, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation." (Mark 16:15, NIV). This doesn't mean we have to stand on a stage and give a speech. We can share God's love by talking about Him, being kind, and helping others.
When we tell our friends about God, we are sharing the hope and joy that we have found in Him. Knowing God brings peace, comfort, and happiness. Things that last much longer than toys, games, or other temporary things. The Bible says, "I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete." (John 15:11, NIV).
Our friends can experience that joy too! They can learn that God loves them, hears their prayers, and sent Jesus to save them. What an amazing gift to share!
So don't keep God's love all to yourself. Be a good friend by sharing the good news of Jesus. You never know how God might use YOU to help someone discover His wonderful love.

Church Is Fun!
When you hear the word "church," what do you think about? Maybe you think about singing songs, playing games, listening to Bible stories, or making new friends? Church can be a wonderful place because it helps us learn more about God, and grow in our faith with other kids!
One reason church is fun is that we learn more about God there. At church, we hear Bible lessons, sing songs, and discover how much God loves us. Church is also a place where we can ask questions and learn from other Christians. There is always something new to discover about God's amazing love and His plan for our lives.
Another reason that church is special is that God wants us to love and worship Him together. The Bible tells us, "For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them" (Matthew 18:20, NIV). God loves it when His people come together to pray, sing, and encourage one another.
When we worship together, we are reminded that we are part of God's family. We can make friends, help others, and grow stronger in our faith.
So the next time you go to church, remember that it is more than just a building. It is a place to learn about God, worship Him together, and have fun with His family!
