Now Playing Always Only Jesus Mercyme

February 7, 2023

For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands, for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control. (2 Timothy 1:6-7) ESV.

In daily affairs, there are moments when ambassadors play a critical role. Events occur when key decisions must be made, conveyed, or executed. It often falls to the ambassadors to be fearless in acting on the instructions of their call.

There will come a time when ambassadors have to share the message with other countries. There have been times in history when it has been a matter of life and death. It is no different for us as ambassadors of Jesus Christ; we are involved in life and death matters. The salvation of humanity is life and death matter.

Our mandate as ambassadors of the Kingdom of God is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with people. We know that only the Holy Spirit can lead someone to Christ. However, we cannot escape the fact that God uses people like us (His ambassadors) to share the Good News with others. Have you ever had the opportunity to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with someone? If we are an ambassador of Jesus Christ, we must be His representative.

Several months after sharing the Gospel with my Dad in a three-hour phone conversation, my Dad (due to complications with COPD) went home to be with the Lord. I know my Dad is in Heaven today not because of anything I did but because the Lord Saved him. Sharing the Gospel with family and friends tends to be one of the most challenging things to do, but remember, God will give us strength and the ability to be His ambassadors. We serve a Mighty God!

Friends, we are busy with life and death matters; may you be an ambassador who fearlessly seizes the moment? Would you pray with me?

Dear Heavenly Father, I praise You and thank You that You choose to use me to carry Your Gospel Message to people. Help me to be a worthy ambassador; help me to seize every opportunity to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with others. For it is in Your Precious Name that I ask. Amen.

Encouraging Words from Billy Graham: God wants every believer to be a witness for Christ to those who do not know Him.

“Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God” (2 Corinthians 5:20 ESV)

God Bless you, Friends, and have a Blessed Day <><
