Abuse? Neglect? Parental Addiction? Mental Illness? Parental divorce? Did you know these adversities can change us biologically? What can we do to become healthy and whole again? There is hope. Come learn skills and methods to overcome these challenges with Madelyn Wright, TBRI® Practitioner. She is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Trauma and Resilience and Non-Profit Management at Wilmington University. The first of four sessions covering this book will be held Tuesday, October 1 @ 5:30pm at the Greenwood Public Library and the rest will follow on Tuesday October 8, 15, and 22 . You will receive helpful information from any session you attend. If you miss a session, have questions or would like to review any material, Madelyn will be available on Thursday, October 24 from 6-7 pm at Amity Coffee Roasters to meet with you. Books are available at the Greenwood Public Library for check out. Please call the library at 302-855-1242 with any questions or find us at greenwood.lib.de.us. Registration is encouraged but not required. Walk-ins are welcome. This program is designed to provide a safe environment to learn skills and procedures to overcome adversity, find support, grow and flourish.
