Tricky Tray Fundraiser For Luke Zechariah

Family and friends of six-year-old Luke Zechariah Stevens will be holding a Tricky Tray Fundraiser on June 5th at the East New Market Firehouse in East New Market, Maryland.

Luke Zechariah was diagnosed with Polymicrogyria (PMG) when he was 18 months old. PMG is a rare condition characterized by abnormal development of the brain before birth which has led to seizures. Despite many challenges that people don’t often understand, Luke is a fighter.

It has since been discovered that Luke will be facing his first brain surgery this coming June 28, 2022. It is expected there could be several surgeries in his future, which could become very extensive and invasive. Funds will be going towards Luke's existing medical bills, the family expenses during surgery and recovery, epilepsy monitoring devices, and a future epilepsy assistance service dog.

At a Tricky Tray, donated prizes are placed on a table with bags in front of them. Friends purchase sheets of 25 tickets (as many as they want) separate and put as many tickets they want into the bags of the prize(s) they want a chance to win. The caller will choose a ticket from each bag and the person with that matching number wins that prize! You must be present to win!

Doors will open at 12:00 pm
Drawing will start at 2:00 pm
Tickets are sheets of 25 for $5 each (includes a door prize ticket)
We will have 50/50, a bake sale, t-shirts available for purchase, and food for sale!!
The family will be present at the event and hopes to meet you there!
