"Traveling Different" book talk with author Dawn Barclay

On Tuesday, October 25, at 6pm, author Dawn Barclay will present an engaging virtual presentation on her book, Traveling Different: Vacation Strategies for Parents of the Anxious, the Inflexible, and the Neurodiverse. Her book has been described as the travel bible for parents of children with autism spectrum disorder and/or mood and distraction disorders and offers helpful tips to soothe any children's travel anxieties. Interested persons are invited to gather in the library's meeting room where Ms. Barclay will join us via Zoom. After her presentation, there will be time for Q & A and dialog with the author, plus networking among those who attend. Registration is encouraged but not required; walk-ins are welcome. The program is free and open to all.
This program is designed to encourage and equip parents and other caregivers of children with autism spectrum disorder and/or mood and distraction disorders as they seek to provide quality travel and other life experiences for their children.
