Therefore know that the LORD your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments; and He repays those who hate Him to their face, to destroy them. He will not be slack with him who hates Him; He will repay him to his face. Therefore you shall keep the commandment, the statutes, and the judgments which I command you today, to observe them. (Deuteronomy 7:9-11) NKJV

The reason that you and I can confidently live by faith is that we serve a faithful God. No matter what happens or struggles we may have in life, we can depend on Him. This is why we should have nothing to fear. This is why no one can harm us. This is why we can live as conquers’.

We serve a faithful God. He has promised never to leave us nor forsake us. No matter what happens, He walks beside us. He is there on the good days; He is there on the very worst days. He is a Covenant-keeping God. Have you ever stopped to comprehend what this means entirely? I am not talking about something academic – it is not an intellectual thing – no, God’s faithfulness is our most precious commodity.

God’s faithfulness keeps us going; it gives us hope. Deuteronomy 7:6-8 (NKJV) tells us, “For you are a holy people to the LORD your God; the LORD your God has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples on the face of the earth. The LORD did not set His love on you nor choose you because you were more in number than any other people, for you were the least of all peoples; but because the LORD loves you, and because He would keep the oath which He swore to your fathers, the LORD has brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you from the house of bondage, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.” What does this mean to us, you ask? It means our lives struggles, hurts, setbacks, etc...

Friends, is God speaking to you, reassuring you of how He feels about you? You can rejoice because you are not at the mercy of the things happening around you. You can, in hope, rise above because God is walking beside you.  Would you pray with me?

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your faithfulness towards me. Looking back over my life, I realize that You have always been with me. I give You Praise for this today. Thank You that I can live by faith because You are faithful. In Jesus’ Name, Amen

Encouraging Words: God is always faithful to answer. Sometimes His answer is a much desired, “Yes.” Sometimes His answer is a merciful “No.” Sometimes His answer is a faith-building, “Not yet.” And sometimes, when an answer cannot be found, His answer is, “Trust Me.”

God Bless you and have a Blessed Day, Friends <><
