Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known. (Jeremiah 33:3) ESV
Praise and faith are closely related. For instance, in Numbers chapter twenty-one we see that the children of Israel were traveling in the desert and very thirsty. Are we currently walking in the desert of troubling circumstances today? If so, the Lord invites us in (Jeremiah 33:3) to, “Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.”
If we reach out to God in faith He will answer us. The Israelites were in the desert; can you imagine the radiant heat and how thirsty they must have been. Moses told the Israelites in (Numbers 21:17) to praise God and sing about the water that was about to come out of the ground, “Then Israel sang this song: “Spring up, O well!—Sing to it!”
The Israelites were walking around in the desert dying of thirst, and so Moses told them to start digging in the sand. They hadn’t seen any water yet but they sang in faith, praising God for the water that would come. Question for you and me: Are we praising God for our circumstances, even though things might look dark and gloomy right now? Moses told the people of Israel that God would provide water for them. They dug down and water came bubbling up. It is easy to praise God when everything is going well, but the bottom line is, are we praising God before He gives us our hearts’ desire?
Faith involves action. This means that we have to start praising God for what He is going to do for us. I am not talking about a name it and claim it theology; I am not into that kind of thing. The Bible tells us in (Hebrews 11:1) that “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.”
Friends, no matter what our circumstances today, we need to praise God. There is nothing too difficult for God. Our very lives are in His Hands. An ambassador for Christ lives a lifestyle of praise no matter what his circumstance. Would you Pray with me?
Dear Heavenly Father, I praise You today, I glorify Your Holy Name. You are a mighty God and there is none besides You. I praise You for Your faithfulness. I give You the praise and honor due You. I bow in Your presence and humbly submit to You as You work out Your plans and purposes in my life. For it is in Your Precious Name I pray. Amen

God Bless and have a Blessed Day, Friends <><
