On Air Now Right Song at the Right Time Midnight - 6:00am
Now Playing Hold On To Me Lauren Daigle

August 10, 2022

And you call upon the name of your god, and I will call upon the name of the LORD, and the God who answers by fire, he is God.” And all the people answered, “It is well spoken.” (1 Kings 18:24) ESV.

Elijah never apologized to anybody for his belief in God. He knew that his Redeemer lived!

People will see right through us if we are not sincere about God. When I speak to someone, I like to look directly into their eyes because their eyes tell me the story; they either tell me that the person believes what I am saying, or they don’t believe what they are hearing.

Mount Carmel is where a battle occurred between Elijah and the four hundred and fifty ambassadors of Baal. A war that must have shaken heaven and earth. One man of God (Elijah) against four hundred and fifty adversaries. The Israeli Army looked up to Elijah as a mentor. On top of Mount Carmel, one man took God’s Word literally. May we all learn from Elijah and be who we say we are? Several years back, I remember a friend saying, “Randall, preach so that people can see you.” That statement has stuck with me to this day. In other words, what he was saying, was, don’t only talk with your mouth, speak with your life.

Friends, this is what God is looking for in our last days as His children. May we start looking at what we are saying. Remember the old hymn: Stand up, stand up for Jesus, ye soldiers of the cross? Are we standing up for Jesus in our daily lives? Do our lives reflect that of which our words speak? Would you pray with me?

Dear Heavenly Father, You have called me to be a faithful witness to You. Please keep me strong and committed to You and for the cause of Your Kingdom. Please help me so that my talk and my walk match up. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

God Bless you, and may your day be Blessed, Friends <><

Encouraging Words: If all we have is the Word of God, it’s enough. There is nothing more powerful that God can give us than His Word <><
