Now Playing Counting My Blessing Seph Schleuter

April 20, 2022

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.” (Romans 1:16-17)
If we are not ashamed of the Gospel the Lord will honor His Word with Power, Signs, and Wonders following the preaching of His Word. Paul understood the power of the gospel. He proclaimed the gospel fearlessly throughout the then-known world. When Paul came to salvation in Jesus Christ (on his Damascus road experience) Paul became totally committed to the gospel of Jesus Christ. We like Paul are called to preach the gospel in the same way. When we are outspoken and proclaim, ‘There has never been another God, there will never be another God, there is only one God, and He is the Father of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. He is the Almighty God and His Name is Jesus Christ.!’ Why? It is because of His Word. There is power in the Word of God.
Paul exhorted (encouraged) the people of God wherever he went to stand up and proudly proclaim the gospel; no matter what the personal consequences were for them. Wherever Paul went his preaching was followed by signs and wonders. I believe this same power is available to you and me.
Friends, everyone who is a child of God receives that same power of God. However, it is like a switch – if we don’t switch on the light, the electricity cannot light up the room. We need to yield to the Holy Spirit and allow Him to work through us; then we will see the power of God flowing through us. Would you pray with me?
Dear Heavenly Father, I lift my hands to You, and I give my life to You. Father, You have called me; You have empowered me. Help me to fearlessly proclaim Your gospel. It is the power to salvation. As I proclaim Your Word, You will honor it with signs, wonders, and miracles. All the honor and glory belong to You. Amen.

God Bless and have a Blessed Day, Friends <><
