Over the next 21 days, you will experience something that could change your life. It's been said that to form a habit, it takes 21 days of consistency, and it just so happens that the Book of John has 21 chapters. We hope that by the end of these three weeks, you’ll have strengthened your relationship with Jesus and built a new habit of reading the Bible into your life.

John is the fourth book in the New Testament and was written by John, one of Jesus’ disciples. This is a great place to start for anyone wanting to know about Jesus. If you accepted Jesus on our Take a Leap day, or you’ve been walking with Jesus for a while and want to get back on track in a Bible reading plan, this is for you.

Here's how this plan will work. You’ll be encouraged to pray, read, and think each day.

Pray that God would open your heart to His Word, and show you all He has for you, as you begin this new journey. Pray for the Next generation...including your children or grandchildren.

Think about John 4:23-24 “But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father s seeking such people to worship him. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”  What does it mean to worship in Spirit and truth? How can you begin moving in that direction?

Think about John 8:10-11 “Jesus stood up and said to her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?” She said, “No one Lord.” and Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you; go, and from now on sin no more.”” Shame for our past can cripple us, and cause us to have some serious negative self talk, but what we see in this passage is that NOT even Jesus holds it against us. So, the question to think about today is: Are you ready to let the shame and guilt go and trust that even God isn’t holding it against you?

Think about John 11:25 “Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live..”” Some day our broken bodies will fail us, and we’ll eventually be gone from this Earth. As followers of Jesus we receive the ultimate healing and we can rest easy knowing that we’ll spend eternity in Heaven! This is awesome news!!
